Professional Experience Joseph Pro has over 25 years experience in many varied aspects of architectural projects including institutional facilities, medical facilities, commercial and residential projects. He has provided expert witness analysis and testimony on many construction claims and disputes. Joseph's work with CONTECH has included field experience with construction and contractual issues, expert reports, photos, drawings and oral presentations. Work encompassed a range of tasks including inspections, reporting, photos, drawings, review of schedules, change orders and RFI’s. Sample project: Federal Detention Center, Brooklyn, NY ($60 Million project). 1991 – Present: Sky Architects LLC - Principal Architect Extensive experience in all aspects of architectural practice including single and multi-family homes, commercial, office, tenant refit, medical facilities, field supervision of construction (masonry, brick, dryvit, wood frame and steel), inspections, expert witness testimony and expert reports, active and passive solar energy system design and analysis. Pre – 1991: Ambric Engineering - Project Consultant Extensive field evaluations of existing construction problems, specializing in concrete and brick facades, drawings, C.D. omissions in regard to as-built conditions, expert witness testimony and expert reports. Work included mediation testimony and Board of Arbitration testimony. Sample project: liaison between contractor and client during construction phase of the Primate House at the Philadelphia Zoo. |
